Underwater Hockey in Denver


The current Denver underwater hockey team has been playing in the area since 1991 (there have been teams before ours too). We normally play Wednesdays and Sundays at the Carmody Pool at the Carmody Recreation Complex located at  (see map or satellite image):

Beginners are always welcome, as are experienced players who are visiting. Please call to confirm before showing up your first time. Our pool times are occasionally canceled for swim meets. Beginners should call one of the contacts below to let us know you are coming, and should plan to be there 30 minutes early to be fitted with equipment and to learn the basics of the game.

Carmody Pool has developed a major leak and is closed for repairs until October 2008.  We are in the process of arranging an alternate pool.  Check this site for updates, or, if you would like to be notified when we have found a new pool, send Chris Debrunner (chris.debrunner@ieee.org) your email address.

Games on Wednesdays are from 8-9:30pm and games on Sundays are from 4:00-5:30pm. 

If you are traveling without equipment we can provide some. However, please contact one of the Denver Underwater Hockey contacts listed below to confirm the extra equipment is not already spoken for.

Underwater Hockey is now also played in Ft Collins, CO. Contact rage@engr.colostate.edu for more information.
